I’m Loved

Ephesians 2:4 AMP

But God, being [so very] rich in mercy, because of His great and wonderful love with which He loved us,

Oh! How wonderful He is
Love is His nature,
Love is who He is
Love is His person.

Perhaps one of the realest attribute of God that we find difficult to admit and fully believe is how much God so love us. We may think, how do one describe the impeccable, infinite love of God to impure, finite humans? Well, the answer still remains it is undescribable. That is why we can understand Jesus’ statement when he said, “greater love has no man than this that he lay down his life for his friends.” How rear will you see someone die for you and even if you see, then it is because you are good not because you are bad. This is what Jesus did, he called us friends (He was called friends of sinners) despite we being bad and went on to die for us. THIS IS LOVE.

Jeremiah said, “I have loved you with an everlasting love…”(31:3). Isaiah said “…you are precious in my eyes and honoured, and I love you.” Paul also went on to say, “I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.” (Rom.8:38).

Oh, you had thought it was what you did or do that made Him or will make Him love you? No! He loves you because he loves you. His love is personal; God knows that I often make mistakes, yet he forgives; I am diseased, yet he heals; I am in a pit, yet he pulls me out; I am ungrateful for his good gifts, yet he gives them anyway; and I deserve justice, yet he grants mercy.

How amazing that is right? So, who else do you need to impress? What other ladder do you need to climb? What are you going to add to your CV that’ll top that?

Why not write it all over the corner of your heart, your room for people to see. I’M LOVED.

CONFESSION

Thank you Jesus for Loving me eternally
I’M LOVED
Hallelujah!!
