God Gives Generously

James 1:5
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
God’s word is loud about the generosity of God in giving. Our text for today reveals that God is a generous giver who gives without finding fault with the recipient of His giving. God doesn’t withhold anything good from us. If we can dare to ask in faith, not doubting, we can be rest assured that we will receive from Him.
To be generous simply means to freely give or share valuable things with others, showing kindness and concern to others irrespective of them deserving it or not. It is a thing to give and another thing to give generously. A person might give to others without being generous Birgit’s quite impossible to be generous and not give. True giving flows from generosity, and that describes the nature of our father God in giving.
Dearly beloved, we have a Father who cares and his always giving. Yes, that’s His disposition towards all. He never looks for fault before giving. Have you ever felt disqualified to receiving from God because you thought you didn’t merit it? Why disqualify yourself when God has not disqualified you? Why condemn yourself when God has not condemned you?
Go freely to Him in prayer today and with thanksgiving in your heart, present your request to Him in faith, not doubting His generosity. He is waiting. He is a generous giver.

I have a generous father,
He is a giving God and and I do not doubt His generosity,
I have all my needs met.
