Pillars of Prosperity: Divine Help
Devotional Reading: “For at that time day by day there came to David to help him, until it was a great host, like the host of God.” — 1 Chronicles 12:22 (KJV)
When God wants to prosper you, He sends people. No, money won’t drop from the sky like raindrops, it will flow through human hands. Opportunities? Opened by people. Contracts? Approved by people. Mentorship? Given by people. That’s why divine help often looks very natural, but behind it is the supernatural hand of God.
Ruth’s story is a masterclass in this principle. God didn’t rain coins from heaven, He gave Ruth Boaz’s eyes to notice her! That one connection changed her life (Ruth 2). David didn’t become king by force, God sent men from all over Judah and Israel to crown him and establish his rule (1 Chronicles 12:22). Even Elijah’s sustenance during famine? It came from a widow who was prepared by God to provide for him (1 Kings 17:9).
That’s why relationships matter — your next level of prosperity is often tied to someone God has prepared to help you. It may be a boss, a client, a friend, a mentor, a colleague, sometimes even a total stranger. So stay humble. Treat people with honour. Be sensitive, because divine help is often hiding in plain sight! Sometimes we miss helpers because we expect angels with wings, but often God uses everyday people.
Don’t live isolated. Position yourself to receive help. Ask God for discernment, to recognise and value destiny helpers when they show up. Sow seeds of honour into relationships. Serve well, connect well, give well. Prosperity flows through channels, and God is still in the business of sending “channels” of help your way today!
Prayer and Confession
I am connected to the right people. God is raising men and women to favour and bless me. I will not miss my helpers. I value relationships, and I walk in divine connections. As I help others, help is coming to me. My prosperity flows through divinely arranged channels! Amen.
