Rest is Your Weapon

Ephesians 2:6 AMP

And He raised us up together with Him [when we believed], and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, [because we are] in Christ Jesus,

The natural realm is so engulfing at times that we forget the realm we live in is inferior to the realm of the Spirit. Ephesians 6:12 says, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, the authorities, against the powers of the dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” To step out in faith, we have to remove our natural circumstances from our eyes and fasten our gaze onto Jesus.

It is always the desire of the enemy to want to distract us with things in the natural but God is inviting us to come up higher! Arise to the perspective of heaven, and come to recognize the consciousness of where you are seated with Christ.

There are some victories that look impossible to the natural realm, remember the story of Jehosaphat and Israelite war against their enemy, to the naked eye, approaching a vast army with a song and praise seems outrageous. However, their praise and faith were weapons of their victory. What did King Jehoshaphat tell his people? Have faith in the Lord and you will be upheld! Capture this truth in your life as well. Have faith in the Lord and you will be upheld!

You don’t have to strive or wrestle any longer. Rest is your weapon. Lay all of your worries, insecurities, and fears before God and pick up His promises of love, peace and blessings.

CONFESSION

I Live supernaturally
I am Victor
I live from the finished works of Christ.
Amen!
