Why Worry?
1Peter 5:7
Pour out all your worries and stress upon him and leave them there, for he always tenderly cares for you.
Worry simply is as a result of lack of trust that is Lack of trust in God. This is all embedded in the ability to believe the sense realm to eagerly see the result of what you prayed and desired for.
But this is it; answers to prayers are not received when you have the result of your prayers in your hand. Answers are received at the point of presenting your request to God. “This is the reason I urge you to boldly believe for whatever you ask for in prayer—believe that you have received it and it will be yours.(Mark 11:24 TPT).
Worry only brings a false hope of “all will be better” and further makes you sick till the point that you do not paying attention to what God is really doing around you. But as believers, we must understand that faith is not denying the existence of pains and sicknesses in your body, lack of job, low finance etc. But it is believing that what God has said stands even in the midst of this. It is seeing beyond the physical reality and believing God’s word above all.
Always have this consciousness that God takes responsibility as the Father to look after you and to care for you.
CONFESSION
I don’t give in to worry,
I am full of faith, and believe what God has spoken
