Doesn’t God Get Tired?
Isaiah 40:28
“Have you never understood? The lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary…”
A little girl said to her Father “I hear you talk to God every day and asking him many things, I also hear mum and your friends ask him different things. Doesn’t God get tired? She asked. Her father later made her understand that God is not man and he can’t be tired of his children.
Just like this little girl we view God from the perspective of man’s nature. We interprete his character based on our experiences. We must not forget that “in Him there is no variableness neither shadow of turning”.
Therefore, Isaiah is giving us an understanding of who God is “He doesn’t get tired or weary.”
He doesn’t get tired of you, and He is not weary of you making your request known to Him – have that confidence in Him and believe that it is always His joy to listen to you.
