The Best is yet to Come
Devotional Reading: “This is wonderful stuff!” he said. “You’re different from most. Usually a host uses the best wine first, and afterwards, when everyone is full and doesn’t care, then he brings out the less expensive brands. But you have kept the best for the last.” John 2:10 TLB
Factually, every places in scriptures where it seems God’s intervention came too late, ended with outstanding miracles. For example, the dry bones becoming a vast army, Lazarus’ resurrection, feeding of the multitude, the man born blind and lots more.
Today’s text, like every other miracles in the scripture has common and unique similarities, such as; utterance from God and the obedience of man. God specializes in doing things that denies mortals from taking the glory meant for Him. God never come late, He shows up always at the right time when it seems you must have come to the end of yourself.
At such a challenging period, when it seems all hope is lost, when realities of life is in place to confront the truth of God’s word that you know and profess, be sure that God has not lost any battle and He will not experiment with your situation; trust and obey every of His words like the disciples of Jesus did and it turned into a miracle. It’s often said that, there is light at the end of the tunnel, hold on to God, do not compromise your faith in Him, believe Him, the best prepared for you is yet to come.
Prayer and Confession
I believe better days are ahead. I will hold on to the Lord for I know He’ll come through for me. It is my time and season for joy.
