Do You Believe?

Devotional Reading: “Now it came to pass on the third day that Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the king’s house. And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court that she obtained favor in his sight.” Esther 5:1-2 NKJV
As you take your requests to him in prayers and supplications, do you believe he will answer? The scripture says in I John 5:14 “and this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us and if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petition that we desire”
Learn to not ask in doubt but in faith. Queen Esther took a step of faith and she found favour in the sight of the king. In a time when it was against the law of the palace to go into the king’s chambers without being summoned. Queen Esther had people fasted and prayed and also prayed herself that she might obtain favor in the sight of the king. After they had fasted and prayed, she took a step of faith, it wasn’t recorded that a prophet asked her to proceed or not or that she waited for a sign. Rather, she believed God had answered her and went on the assignment.
Do you have a pending assignment? Take a bold step of faith today believing that God has heard your prayers.
Prayer and Confession
Lord, help me to pray more in faith rather than doubt. Help me to trust you even more that I see you bigger than my challenges or problems. Amen.
