The Faith Factor 3

Devotional Reading: for we live by faith, not by what we see with our eyes. 2 Corinthians 5:7 TPT

The circumstances that you’re walking through. The company that you’re working for. The dream that you have. The finances, family, and marriage that you’re working on.

All of these things are important to focus on, but have you factored faith into the equation? When we focus on faith, all things become possible. Doors that were sealed off swing wide open. Mountains that seem insurmountable come down.
Challenges that once derailed you, now propel you toward your destiny.

Opportunities arise because our faithful mindset allows us to notice them. The Word tells us that faith will never fail you, but sight will blind you to the possibilities in God. Therefore, we walk by faith, not by sight.

Sight can blind us by distracting us from what God’s word says about where we are. We see something else and suddenly our focus is shifted from what God says, to what our circumstances say! Illusions take hold of us and suddenly our sight has become a blindfold to our faith.

You see it often in life. People who leave the church. Who leave ministry. Who lose interest in the things of God. Who get angry with God because of the things that they have seen or experienced. We believe the lies and illusions of the enemy, but I want to encourage you to factor faith back into the equation.

The devil has a scheme, but God has a PLAN! We must stand in faith regardless of what we see. Regardless of what we hear. Regardless of what goes on around us.

Because faith is still THE factor.

Prayer and Confession
Father, I choose to live by faith and not by what I see or feel. I experience possibilities. Amen!
