Godly Counsel For Life’s Journey

Devotional Reading: Proverbs 15:22 EASY
Without good advice, your ideas will never happen. But you will do well if you have many advisors.

In seeking success in life, we are often reminded of the importance of wisdom and counsel. Godly relationships provide the wisdom and perspective we need to make sound decisions and avoid pitfalls. The counsel of friends who know and honor God is invaluable as we navigate the complexities of life. These relationships provide a safeguard, helping us stay on course and make choices that reflect our faith and values.

The success that God desires for us is not just material but spiritual. He is concerned with our character, growth, and eternal impact. When we build relationships with people who love the Lord, they help us prioritize what truly matters. They remind us of the eternal significance of our actions and encourage us to seek first the kingdom of God. In godly relationships, we find the necessary balance between pursuing our dreams and keeping our focus on God’s higher calling for our lives.

Moreso, godly relationships remind us of our dependence on the body of Christ. No one is meant to walk the path of life alone. Success, especially from a Christian perspective, involves community. When we are connected to others who are pursuing God’s will, we are stronger, more focused, and able to bear one another’s burdens. Together, we press toward the goal that God has set for us, encouraging one another along the way and finding success that is grounded in our faith.

Prayer and Confession
My eyes are opened to godly relationships that will sharpen and shape me for the fulfillment of God’s plan and I have the wisdom to keep those relationships. Amen!
