Faith to Act When It Doesn’t Make Sense

There are times when the Holy Ghost will lead you to do something that defies logic. That’s where breakthrough lives—on the other side of obedience in faith. Imagine Joshua walking around the walls of Jericho, not fighting, just walking. It didn’t make sense—but it worked because God said it.

In Acts 16, Paul and Silas were in prison. Instead of panicking, they sang praises. That instruction didn’t make sense to the natural mind. But it led to a supernatural earthquake that opened prison doors. When we obey the Holy Ghost, even when it doesn’t add up, we release the supernatural into our lives.

Many of us are waiting for conditions to be perfect before we obey. But God often calls us to act in imperfect conditions to show that it’s His power, not our calculation, that brings the breakthrough. Don’t let the need to “understand everything” keep you from acting on what God said.

The Holy Ghost is not just our Comforter—He’s our Guide. He sees ahead, prepares ahead, and leads us with precision. You don’t need the full map; you just need the next step. When you act in faith, even in confusion or discomfort, heaven backs you up.

Ask God for the courage to obey when it doesn’t make sense. What is that step of faith God has been urging you to take? Take it. Delayed obedience is disobedience, and disobedience can delay breakthrough. Step out—and see what God has already prepared on the other side.

Prayer and Confession
I walk by faith and not by sight. I trust God’s leading even when I don’t understand. I obey divine instructions with boldness. I take steps that align with God’s will, and breakthroughs follow me everywhere.
