Dress the Part － Putting on Christ

Devotional Reading: “For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.” – Galatians 3:27

No one heads to a wedding in pyjamas or shows up at the office in a towel (unless you’re dreaming). Yet, some of us are spiritually underdressed. We leave home without “putting on Christ.” Your identity is like spiritual clothing. It not only covers you, it communicates who you are.

Clothing yourself in Christ means choosing daily to operate from the truth of your salvation, not the drama of your emotions. You wear peace when chaos knocks. You wear righteousness when temptation stirs. You wear joy when life serves bitter leaf.

Want to make it real? Every morning, say, “Lord, I put on Christ today.” Visualize it like wearing an invisible suit of identity. Some folks dress for success—you’re dressing in salvation, righteousness, love, and power. It’s not role-play, it’s real-life prep.

And when the day tries to strip you of joy or confidence, pause and “re-dress” yourself in His truth. You don’t have to be perfect, you just have to stay aware that you’re already clothed in Him.

Prayer and Confession
I am dressed in Christ. I wear His righteousness, peace, and power daily. I do not live uncovered—I live in full awareness of who I am.
