Victory is Maintained by Persistence
Devotional Reading: “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9 KJV
Many believers love breakthrough stories but underestimate the consistency that sustains them. The enemy knows that if he cannot stop your beginning, he will try to exhaust your continuation. Persistence is not glamorous, but it is powerful. It is waking up and choosing faith again even when yesterday looked exactly the same. This is where many believers quietly quit, not in sin, but in discouragement.
Victory is not always a dramatic moment; sometimes it is quiet endurance. Keep praying, keep declaring, keep obeying. The enemy counts on boredom, weariness, and routine to make you drop your guard. When you persist, you communicate to heaven that you trust God’s process and to hell that intimidation has failed.
Do not measure progress only by visible change. Some victories are happening beneath the surface before they appear openly. Roots grow before fruits appear. Stay faithful, stay joyful, and stay grounded in God’s word. Your persistence today is preparing tomorrow’s testimony.
Prayer and Confession
Father, I receive strength to persist. I refuse to grow weary. I stand firm, trusting that my due season is coming and my testimony will speak loudly. Amen!
