Relationships are a System, Not a Miracle

Key Text: “He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.” Proverbs 13:20

Many people want to succeed in life but they are surrounded by people who clap for nonsense. They want to grow but they keep company with those who celebrate excuses. They want to fulfill destiny but their closest friends are professional discouragers. And the funny part is that they still pray, “Lord, take me higher.” Higher where? With who? Because if God lifts you and your circle is still pulling you down, your life will look like someone climbing a ladder while his friends are holding his leg. You will be praying for speed, but your relationships are applying brake.

Whether you like it or not, relationships shape outcomes. The Bible does not joke with this matter. It says if you walk with wise men, wisdom will rub off on you. Meaning wisdom is contagious. But it also says if you keep company with fools, destruction is part of the package. Some people’s problem is not demons, it is their friend or WhatsApp group. The devil does not need to attack you directly if he can keep you close to people who drain your discipline, waste your time, and poison your mindset.

Look at David. He had mighty men. Even when he was in the wilderness, he gathered people, trained them, and built a strong system around him. Jesus too had twelve disciples. Paul had Timothy. Moses had Aaron and Joshua. God always uses people. Destiny is too heavy for one person to carry alone. If you want to win in life without compromise, you must be intentional about who has access to your heart, your time, your ideas, and your future. Prayer is powerful, but wrong relationships can cancel answered prayers. Choose wisely. Some connections are blessings, some are lessons, and some are distractions wearing human skin.

Father, I thank You for divine connections.
I receive discernment to choose relationships that align with my purpose. I disconnect from every association that weakens my faith and destiny. I declare that my relationships will push me toward wisdom, growth, and fulfillment. In Jesus name, Amen.
