What Can Be Said About You

Devotional Reading: “For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is there, even as thou walkest in the truth” 3John 3KJV

Whenever anyone is to be elected into a position of power, leadership or authority, people begin to dig up things about them, mostly the negative things. The funny thing about a rumour is that there is always an element of truth so I ask you, what rumour is flying around about you?

Imagine yourself in a situation where people are given the opportunity to pen something down about you. Do you think the good will outweigh the bad?

John, in our reading today was commending a man who is human just like you and I about how it has been reported of him that the truth is in him even as he walked in the truth.

See this moment as a time of reflection, get a reality check done on your personal life. Another man was mentioned in verse 9 whose report was utterly bad. Do not live your life to please people. Rather, live your life in accordance with the way and will of God, then you’ll see how people will see and say the truth in you.

Prayer and Confession
I am intentional about living a godly life. I depend on the holy spirit to guide me through a perfect life. Amen
