Counted Righteous In Christ
(2 Corinthians 5: 21)
” For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
“I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus” is not a slang, or mere word but a reality of who a believer really is. It is the ability to stand before God without any sense of guilt, filth or inferiority. It is the ability to live the way Jesus lived in his earth walk.
How did Jesus live? He had no sense of sin, he could stand before the father to ask for anything, he was a perfect example of the Father’s righteousness, he was master over demons, he was master over diseases and sickness, he could stare the devil in the face, and he had no fear. That was righteousness consciousness.
The moment eternal life was imparted in us when we got born again, we also possess this ability, we share in his substitutionary work. We can now understand, what it means to be redeemed, what it means to be free, what it means to be a conqueror, because we have become His righteousness.
Let this be real to you.
