The Light Life

John 8:12

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

All that there is to God is Light. 1 John 1:5 says, “This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. This invariably will mean that since God is Light, all that there is to his kingdom is Light as well.

We know what the importance of Light is, Light does not only dispel darkness, it also brings illumination. So, Jesus said “I am the Light of the world… He that follows me will not walk in darkness …” The words follow” in this context means to be in union with him, and this is by believing. Jesus said those that are in union with him shall not walk in darkness.

The implication of this is that as believers in Christ Jesus, illumination is around you, it means where it seems as though things are confused, you know what to do, how to do what to do and when to do it. You have the light of life in you. The illumination is there, you can’t be confused. These should register in your mind as a believer.

Whenever you are in a state of confusion, you simply come to the recognition that you have the light of life, you have the Illumination, you know what to do, how to do it and when to do them.
