Jesus is Our Wisdom

1 Corinthians 1:30
It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.
God has united us with Christ Jesus forever and made Him become our wisdom. Because of what God has done for us in Christ, you can boldy say that Jesus Christ is your wisdom. You are in Christ Jesus and He has been made wisdom unto you. So you have wisdom, you do not lack wisdom. No Christian lacks wisdom. Wisdom is a person and that’s Jesus. Nobody has wisdom more than another person. But here is a truth worthy of note. It’s a thing to have wisdom and another thing to walk in that wisdom.
God’s word in James 1:5 says “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” It is good for you to know that God’s words agree. Apostles Paul and James are not in argument. Lacking wisdom according to this text means not walking in the wisdom of God in you. It means lacking the expression of wisdom in you.
You walk in wisdom by listening to the wisdom of God in you. As you listen to Him, you get strategies, instructions for daily living. Walking in wisdom will now mean walking in the light of the instructions that Jesus in you is giving you.
Beloved, you do not lack wisdom, for Christ is your wisdom. Acknowledge this first of all for it is the beginning of walking daily in the wisdom of God.
