The Difference is Clear
By Kayode Emmanuel
Devotional Reading: “For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it. But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace” – Galatians 1:13 & 15 KJV
No man lives for himself, just as there is no empty vacuum in the space. Every man is being controlled either by God or the devil, controlled by principles of the government he surrenders to.
Paul in his earlier days before the Lord encountered him lived all his life with passion against the gospel of Christ, persecuting everyone who proclaim the message of the cross. He lived a life not confusing to people, everyone knows him to be an anti-Christ.
Upon his conversion, he transferred the same passion into proclaiming the gospel of Christ. He had a past life and a new life visible to the blind and audible to the deaf beyond religion. You as an individual, has there been any change in your way of life; your speech, dressing, associations and your desires? Even if you were a “Cornelius” (religious with life of Christ, Acts 10), now that you are in Christ, there should be a difference because you are now under a new government as you are being led of God’s spirit.
Prayer and Confession
Because I have been translated from the domain of darkness to light, I live a life worthy of my calling in Christ. It is evident for all to see as I shine for my world to see.
