When Faith is Applied, Grace is Supplied
Devotional Reading: Romans 5:2 ESV
Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
God is a benevolent giver. God gave us His Only Son Jesus and allowed Him to die for our sins, so we can have eternal life with Him. God lavishes us with His grace, but the only way we can receive it is through faith.
When Jesus encountered people who needed healing, He often asked them, “Do you want to be healed?” He was always able and willing to heal, but the people needed to be ready to receive healing through their faith in Jesus.
The grace for your miracle is already available, but do you have the faith to receive it? God knows you have a need but grace doesn’t flow into need, it flows into faith.
Every blessing you require on earth is already deposited into your life by the grace of God. If you’ve been waiting on God to meet a certain need, make sure you’ve positioned yourself in alignment to His will for you.
When water is poured, it can only flow into a vessel that’s positioned right underneath it. Make sure your motives are right and your prayers are serving God’s purpose. You cannot take God’s grace away from God’s purpose for you. God will not support the abuse of His grace to defeat His purpose. His grace goes alongside His will for you.
God’s reservoir of grace will never run dry. He’s the God of abundant mercies and all-sufficient grace. God, who did not spare His Own Son, is able to freely give you everything you need.
All your physical, emotional, spiritual, financial and intellectual needs are already met through Christ Jesus. It has all been credited into your life account. Faith enables you to position yourself under God’s grace and freely receive from Him.
When you’re faithful in following God’s will for your life, His grace provides everything you will ever need. When you apply your faith, God will supply His grace. God’s grace will never run out on you.
